One day, a new resident doctor who graduated from the same university arrives. His name is Katsura Shotaro. The first thing he says upon meeting her is the slightly odd question, “Where is the faucet where I can change the water in the vase?” It turns out he was born into a flower shop in Tokyo and simply loves flowers. His conversations with Mikoto, who knows nothing about flowers, fail to connect, and she feels confused by his unusual behavior.
